I imagine you could use any cake flavor - chocolate, red velvet, funfetti to change up the recipe more. I don't bother to mess with perfection. You can also add other mix-ins - I've also added heath bars one time. The possibilities are endless.

How to make Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies

In a large Bowl - mix flour, cake mix and baking soda. Set aside. - 02
Cream soft butter and both sugars together until smooth. Add the egg and mix until combined. - 03
Add vanilla and combine. Add flour to wet ingredients until combined. Add chocolate and sprinkles. - 04
Cover tightly and refrigerate for 2hours. Line Baking Sheets with parchment or baking mat. - 05
Shape them taller than wide when putting on the Cookie Sheet. - 06
Allow to cool 4 min before transferring to Wire Rack.
