How to make Holiday Ginger Chaps

  Dry Ingredients: In a large Bowl, Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.

  Butter Mixture: In another Bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg, molasses, and vanilla; beat until combined.

  Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just blended.

  Chill: Divide the dough in half, wrap in plastic, and chill for at least 1 hour.
