Almond Milk
Look for organic, plain and unsweetened, with as simple of an ingredient list as possible (i.e. free of carrageenan, gums, etc.).
Liquid Base
Filtered water may also be used as the liquid base of this smoothie.
Additional Flavours
Add a small piece of fresh, peeled ginger root and/or up to 1/3 cucumber.
