½ Cup(s) Butter
1 Cup(s) Sugar
¼ Teaspoon(s) Baking Soda
¼ Teaspoon(s) Cream of Tartar
1 Egg
½ Teaspoon(s) Vanilla Extract
1 ½ Cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
2 Tablespoon(s) Sugar
1 Teaspoon(s) Ground Cinnamon

How to make Snickerdoodles!

  Let the butter come to room temperature.

  In the Mixing Bowl of a Stand Mixer, beat the softened butter on medium-high speed for 30 seconds.

  Add 1 Cup of sugar, baking soda and cream of tartar, and beat these until combined.

  Add the egg and vanilla, and beat until combined.

  Stir in the flour.

  Cover the Mixing Bowl with cling film, and put in the fridge for approx. 1 hour to chill.

  While the dough is chilling, mix the cinnamon and Tablespoons of sugar in a Mixing Bowl.

  Remove the dough from the fridge and roll into 1 inch balls.

  Roll the balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

  Place the cookies 2 inches apart on a lined Cookie Sheet.

  Bake at 375 F for 12 minutes.

  Cool on a Wire Rack.
