How to make Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce
01 Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and grease a 2-quart Baking Dish.
02 Whisk together milk, sugar, melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, & cinnamon in a Mixing Bowl.
03 Gently stir in the bread cubes and raisins, then spoon the mixture into the prepared dish. Bake for 50-55 minutes - cover with foil if the top starts to brown too quickly.
04 Let the pudding stand for 10 minutes to let all the flavors settle before serving! To make the vanilla sauce! Whisk together milk, brown sugar, butter, egg, flour, cinnamon, & salt in a heavy Saucepan until smooth.
05 Cook over medium heat, Whisking constantly, until the sauce is thickened and coats the back of a spoon - this will take 10-12 minutes.
06 Stir in some vanilla extract to finish it off! Serve the warm bread pudding with the delicious vanilla sauce poured over the top or on the side in a Bowl.
