How to make Crockpot Slow Cooker Jambalaya
Start by tossing in Chopped onion, celery, bell pepper, garlic, sausage, chicken, tomatoes, oregano, bay leaves, and Creole seasoning - mix it all up & cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 4 to 5 hours, until the veggies are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
Add the shrimp (shells on!) & cook for an additional 30 to 45 minutes.
While that's cooking, make some rice (this should make about 4 Cups of cooked rice).
Then take out the bay leaves & season with salt & pepper. Garnish with Chopped fresh parsley & serve the jambalaya ladled over top or stir the cooked rice into the jambalaya.
Enjoy - and don't forget to store any leftovers in air-tight containers in the fridge (they'll last 2-3 days)!
