How to make Simplest Scones

  Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large Bowl.

  Slice the butter into small cubes then rub it into the flour mix with your fingers, until it looks like breadcrumbs.

  Add the egg to the milk and beat together before adding to the flour mixture. Stir together to form dough.

  Knead the dough a little then roll flat, about ¾" thick. Cut out the scones with a round cutter.

  Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

  Line a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper. Place the scones evenly on it and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden.
